Vice-Mayor City of Lisbon


Duarte Cordeiro was born in February 23rd 1979 and Graduated in Economics at Lisbon University, with a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration. He is a Councillor of Lisbon’s City Council since October 2013, and he is Vice-Mayor since April 2015, with direct responsibility in the areas of Urban Hygiene (including Waste and Circular Economy), Public Space, Markets, Sports, Smart Cities, Economy and Innovation. Duarte Cordeiro was a national MP between October 2009 and October 2013. He was the Vice-President of the Portuguese Institute for Youth and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Foundation for the Promotion of Information Technologies in 2008.
